Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to get a tattoo in Bali?
Yes, when the studio is clean. Every session uses a new single-use needle and cartridge, and all reusable equipment is sterilised in an autoclave.
Can I swim or surf after my tattoo?
Not until it has healed — usually around two weeks.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, for small pieces when an artist is free. Larger work is best booked ahead on WhatsApp.
How much is the deposit?
A deposit of USD 50 holds your slot and comes off the final price.
Can you cover up an old tattoo?
Yes. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we'll suggest designs.
How long will my tattoo take?
Small pieces take about 1 hour, palm-sized pieces 2–3 hours, and large pieces a full session of 4–6 hours. Sleeves and back pieces are split over several sessions.
Does it hurt?
Some placements hurt more than others; your artist will take breaks when you need them.
What should I do before my appointment?
Sleep well, eat beforehand, avoid alcohol and sunburn on the area.
